Hades I is the first planet from the sun of the Hades system. Located just on the inner edge of the system's green band, ruins on its surface suggest that the lost civilization of Hades may once have operated colonies there in spite of its high temperature. It is dotted with impact craters that seem to have been caused by weapons. Some scholars believe that Hades I once had an atmosphere, but it was blasted away during the war that ultimately destroyed the Hadesians. Research to settle this question is ongoing.
