Vanduul raids are attacks coordinated for the apparent purpose of harvesting or capturing resources. Raids vary in size; most are made up of a few Vanduul and employ quick hit and run tactics. Larger raids can sometimes include the deployment of "Harvesters," large vehicles used to pull resources from the surface of planets and moons. Frequent Vanduul raids in a planetary system are sometimes precursors to invasion.
