MacArthur (Kilian V) is the fifth planet from the sun of the Kilian system, United Empire of Earth (UEE), and serves as the main headquarters of the UEE Navy. Soon after the planet was terraformed to Human specifications, the Navy constructed boot camps (known locally as Forges), officer training programs, flight academies, medical centers, and other facilities there. The planet is orbited by sprawling space docks and shipyards operated by major spacecraft manufacturers, including Anvil Aerospace and Roberts Space Industries.
