Nyx I is a coreless planet that orbits closest to the sun in the Nyx system. Once considered impossible to terraform due to the presence of irremovable chemicals in its atmosphere, Nyx I has been in the process of terraformation since SEY 2954 thanks to a new type of technology developed by Genesis Terraforming. The governing body of the People's Alliance has stated that they may pursue additional settlements on the world if the procedure is successful.
