The Volt system (designated VS-12 by the United Empire of Earth (UEE)) is a Vanduul-controlled planetary system that shares no publicly-known jump points with any other systems. Included in UEE star charts as a part of Vanduul territory, it is confirmed to have at least one planet. UEE-based company Verified Offworld Laser Technologies (VOLT) came under fire in SEY 2945 after the Battle of Vega II for having the same name as a Vanduul system. In response, the company made a substantial monetary donation to Vega relief efforts.
