SLAM (silicate adrenomethosterone), also known as redline, bounce, or berserker, is Class A narcotic and steroid and stimulant with analgesic effects. Most commonly available as an inhalant, it was originally only available in liquid form and was taken via intravenous injection. Derived from adrenomethosterone, a medical-grade steroid used to treat severe autoimmune conditions, it gained popularity as a performance-enhancing drug for athletes. The crystalline version that forms the basis of the inhalant emerged as a faster, cheaper method to make the drug. Effects of the drug include inducing hyper-aggression and a temporary burst of strength and endurance in its users while dulling their sense of pain. Long-term use can lead to sudden heart failure. Prolonged use of the drug over years is known to cause involuntary tremors in the body.
