The Kallis belt alpha is an asteroid belt in the developing Kallis system. Densely packed with planetesimals, asteroids, dust, and gasses, matter in the belt is constantly pulled out of orbit by the larger bodies forming on its outer edges. The unusually high amount of motion this activity creates poses a hazard for any ships passing through the area.
