The omphalotus mushroom is a bioluminescent fungus that grows in damp caves. Able to survive in cold, low-oxygen environments, the mushroom can sometimes be found in asteroid fissures, and can be eaten if it is correctly prepared. The omphalotus lends its fluorescent pink coloration to Jynx gin, a spirit distilled and bottled on Delamar in the Nyx system.
