Jupiter (Sol V) is the fifth planet from the sun of the Sol system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). A gas giant, it is the largest and most massive planet in the system. During the Human Colonial Expansion Era, Humans constructed some of their earliest attempts at hydrogen fuel refineries around Jupiter. Those that failed were either abandoned or purposely knocked out of orbit so they would be captured by the planet's gravity and plummet into its stormy atmosphere.
