RyiXy'an (Hyoton III) is the third planet from the sun of the Hyoton system, Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an), and is the homeworld of the Xi'an people. Once a lush world teeming with life, its atmosphere was accidentally tainted with poison by House Kl.ō during an assassination attempt gone awry, killing millions and forcing its remaining inhabitants to flee to the nearby colony world Ka'ua (Hyoton IV). This event abruptly ended the ongoing civil war and forced the Xi'an to reassess their culture. Now classified as a smog planet, RyiXy'an has resisted all terraformation attempts, and little life remains beneath its toxic clouds.
