Xi'an youth counterculture (yitē'kuit.i) is a movement made up of young Xi'an, mostly those who have not yet completed their compulsory time with the Xi'an Service (Pō't.ōngp.ū), who experiment with practices not traditional to Xi'an society. Human culture is particularly appealing to Xi'an youth. The main center of the counterculture movement is located in the former Perry Line system Kyuk'ya, on the Pue'nu (Kyuk'ya 1a) shipping hub thanks to its high level of interspecies trade.
