Kins IV is the fourth planet from the sun of the Kins system, Banu Protectorate. Under its dense atmosphere, its surface is coated in solid ice in spite of high temperatures. Atmospheric pressure forces the planet's water to remain solid, creating exotic forms of ice that differ in structure from ice formed under normal circumstances. Surface conditions make it too dangerous for a spacecraft to land there without specialized equipment.
