Hi! Welcome, welcome, what can we do for you today? Looking to buy or sell? Do you need something moved, or disposed of? Maybe you got skills in these departments, look for the small Recruitment sign in the back, and we’ll take care of you.

History

The Black Fox Crew was established in 2941 after the Historical Truth Act brought to light the shady activities of the United Empire of Earth (UEE).

We stand against the notion that any one group of beings has the right to govern over space and those who inhabit it. We do not believe ourselves to be above the law when there is no law to enforce.

Applications for the following roles are always open and will be assigned based on skill and merit:

Marine – The role with the most variety comes in the ships deployed ground force, the Marine. Capable of securing assets, boarding vessels, and eliminating all non-ship threats. The Marines job varies and will be assigned or chosen if available. Positions are as follows: Squad leader, Assault, Medic/Support, and Recon.

Gunner – Touted as the most exciting job aboard any gunship the Gunner is placed in charge of manning and maintaining all weapon systems aboard the ship they are assigned to. When marine forces are deployed off ship the Gunner is in charge of defending the ship if any unaffiliated space farers board their ship. They will also provide secondary damage control efforts when more man power is needed.

Engineer – One of the most important roles on any multi-crew ship is the Engineer. Responsible for maintaining all ships components and manning the Engineer Panel. The Engineer will be required to maintain constant communication with the pilot to assess when and where more power is need to designated systems. The Engineer is also placed in charge of all damage control efforts aboard the ship.

Crew Chief – A Jack of all trades is how one would describe the Crew Chief. Primarily the Crew Chief will be manning a co-pilot position and assisting the Pilot in passing down all orders to the crew and ensuring all work is being completed in a timely fashion. At any given moment the Crew Chief may be called upon to fill in when fellow crew members become incapacitated and unable to perform their assigned jobs. This makes knowledge of everyone’s job crucial to the Crew Chief’s rolle.

Pilot – The Pilots job is the most simple yet one of the toughest roles. You will be given missions from your Wing Commander with expectation to execute them in a timely manner and without causing unnecessary collateral damage. Pilots with outstanding leadership skills will be recommended for squadron leadership roles. Pilots should not expect to receive loaner ships from the organization.

Wing Commander – High stress and even higher reward, those that can handle the mental rigors of commanding their own air wing will find great satisfaction in their work when a weeks worth of planning leads to a successful operation. Those who are meticulous in planning and patient in execution will fit this role well. The Wing Commander will be in charge of their own air wing which could consist of up to 15 vessels and upwards of 50 crew members varying on the type of air wing being commanded. If you are selected for Wing Commander you will be granted the opportunity to create your own organization for your air wing where you will be in charge of a specific mission type that suits the needs of the group. You will serve under a Fleet Admiral who will delegate missions to you and it will be up to you how you approach those missions.

Rank Structure and Authority: A member of the Black Fox Crew does not derive authority from their rank but rather their role in a unit and the members and equipment they have been place directly in charge of determine where their authority begins and ends. There are few instances where rank supersedes all but the input of others should never be discarded all together. Pilots are over all in charge of their vessel, all equipment, and crew members aboard. For example if a crew member is placed in charge a specific area of the vessel they should be considered subject matter experts and the even the pilot should heed what they say.
