Bad pilots unite in mediocrity!

History

Everywhere in the galaxy, pilots that do not meet the minimum standards of safely flying a spaceship are shunned and frowned upon. Being one of them, and just after almost causing a tragedy at Port Olisar, Lady Azylis came to the conclusion that there must be more like her. Those that keep engaging asteroids rather than finding a route around them, those that keep calculating poor routes, ending up somewhere at the edge of the civilized part of the universe.

While that would make for some interesting stories, it would cause some organizations and corporations to be not very amused about the wasted resources and supplies, and even losing valuable cargo. Lady Azylis had the glorious idea to found an association for the more unconventional pilots in the universe, for they also deserve the support and appreciation for their work.

Manifesto

The Bad Pilot Association is welcoming all pilots that think they are bad at flying, navigating and fighting in a spaceship. Our focus is on exploring the universe and social interaction, most of us are up for missions that are considered suicidal by other pilots, as oftentimes, our luck saves us from really precarious situations.

We are politically neutral, and solely led by our faith in ourselves to be good pilots some day. Even if that is without prospect for some of us. The most important part of being a part of the association is, however, to have a good portion of humour, and to never stop trying.

Charter

As mentioned in the manifesto, the most important rule is to have fun while figuring out how to fly your spaceship.
While it is not possible to avoid a certain crime status due to our accidental damage to other ships and possibly space stations, it should be self-evident that we help each other and other commanders in times of need.
And last but not least: No matter how often you crash into an asteroid: Even YOU are a hero!
