Yoh’t

The remnants of a past civilization built upon trade and exploration

In the early days of human expansion into the universe, the Yoh’t went to the frontlines in search of what they could make theirs. Profit was a margin that grew with the art of their approach; milking both the indigenous and foreign alike with their honey-laden words. As with all good things, the mega-corporation began to run afoul as they reached beyond the reaches of their luck and brought the eyes of both unfathomable fortune and despair into play.

Meeting both friend and foe, mysteries of the Void reached out to interact as the realms of myth and legend soon began to be tread upon.

It was an instant.

One nano-second Yoh’t was, and then, then the Yoh’t was not.

In text it is writ that there was light searing the heavens; paths amongst the stars. Guiding paths laying out where the reach of the Yoh’t had attained. As fast as the light appeared, again it was gone.

All that had remained were the texts written by those who remembered. All other physical remains were gone; leaving only fading memories to be written down and spoken to future generations so that they too may remember.

The Yoh’t of today is built from families left behind whom had been at one time been partners in trade with the Yoh’t of times past.

What were human now lay gods. The truth lay in the paths that were once highways of trade. The Truth lay in the art of finding these paths and bringing them back into glory. The Blessed lines now lay before them in the heavens that have been only in part charted by their forefathers; a guide to the Touched, the ones who guided an empire of success to the lands of time without.
