Our Mission and Vision

The purpose of the Gentleman’s Table is simple. It is aimed to be a fellowship of likeminded, mature and friendly people who want to enjoy and socialise within ‘the Verse’ of Star Citizen.

Quality of members is more important than quantity.

The ‘table’ points at King Arthur’s round table which has no head, implying that everyone who sits there has equal status. We do not seek hierarchical structures and positions – but members may have certain roles and specialisations.

The only exception to this is that individuals who join us and are unknown to us will be admitted on a trial basis for a month (and be called initiate) before becoming full members.

If decisions need to be made we shall convene or instigate a ‘Council vote’ where all members have an equal voice and count.

We seek mature members recognizing that maturity is not always as matter of age but of growth and experience. Respect and a friendly attitude are of primary importance.

We are not striving to be elitist but prefer a casual and relaxed approach to the game. Being helpful to each other and having fun is important. We make mistakes and laugh about it.

As Gentlemen we are law abiding citizens. We do not aim to restrict playstyles and respect differing views and interests. However, we will not tolerate members who engage wilfully in illegal activities such as piracy or even ganking. In-game events with slightly questionable legal content such as ‘Jumptown’ will be fine.

As Gentleman we do not tolerate excessive swearing, ‘attitude’ and will expect respect for each other. At times we may have to agree to disagree.

We are mature not by age but by our vision, behaviour and attitude in the ‘Verse’ and also outside of it. If there is an issue or concern we will discuss it openly and address it in a constructive manner.

We have no demands on playtime or contribution. Some may play very regularly – others will only drop in occasionally. Real life always comes first and that will stay that way.

Charter – The Rules to abide by:
• Respect for each other is of primary importance. Be friendly, helpful and kind – especially to newcomers and learners. We like to promote the game and the organisation – this is the foundation of civilisation.

• There is no age restriction in the organisation and as gentleman we welcome manners and good language. Excessive swearing, obscenity, profanity, adult content, drug talk etc is not welcome here.

• We are a law abiding organization. Illegal activities will not be tolerated in-game or outside.

• We do not tolerate any kind of bullying, abuse or personal attacks.

• Please refrain from engaging in too deep into political, religious or other sensitive topics. This too easily leads to conflict and upset.

• While we welcome members of all corners of the globe this is an English speaking organisation. We cannot moderate other languages so please keep to English.
