Hackerspaces are community-operated physical places, where people can meet and work on their projects.
We strive to have one fully loaded workshop available in every system.
We share experience, knowledge and machinery for modding and overclocking.
History
Hackerspaces started thousands of years ago when a community hauled their personal machinery into one hanger where they started hanging out and doing projects together. There was and is no command structure, everybody can start or join projects.
During the Messer era all hackerspaces where destroyed or hidden but the idea of sharing experience, knowledge and machinery never died.
Even to this day outlaws are the most active hackers as they have to make due with whatever they can salvage. It is rumored that Spider is the result of this hacker mentality. From worthless ships a small group of pirates hacked together a frigging space station.
Manifesto
As ship mechanics we love to share experience, knowledge and machinery. This way we teach youngsters the value of a +5% stat overclock.
Now and then a relic or alien technology is brought to us, to see if we can interface it to a modern ship.
The bright and insane come to us for fabrication and testing of their plans.
Charter
Holster your crossbow and bring a caffeinated beverage. Stealing is not advised as most regulars are battle hardened privateers.
Anybody caught sleeping is buying a round of ultra caffeine shots.
