Phalanx Enterprises is a holding company, their prime assets are shares of stock in other corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, brand names, trademarks, copyrights or virtually anything else that has value.

The ruling body for the corporation are the Shareholders with the Director of Operations overseeing the direction of the company. One of the biggest assets for Phalanx Enterprises is their acquisition of a Reclamation Salvage and Security company. They have a few other assets which include a broadcasting station, mining, repair rigger, search and rescue companies.

Aside from the corporate pilots the company’s paramilitary branch consists of the special aerospace services. This branch answers to the Director of Operations and focuses mostly on asset protection.

Pirates are a persistent threat to resource acquisition operations. Problematic pirates that continue to hinder operations will be added to the company watchdog list for any who wish to claim their bounty. While other forces under the Security branch are more designed for escort duty, 64 SAS are elite soldiers, but low in numbers.

Phalanx Enterprises does not associate with pirates nor does it commit piracy. While we accept ex-pirates, those who revert back to their old ways of piracy will be branded as enemies of Phalanx Enterprises.

PvP

Star CItizen is a PvP game unlike no other, and it’s with little surprise that Phalanx shall be focused on controlling sectors within the Star Citizen universe. This is far from casual guild with casual leaders but instead prides itself in having a consortium of dedicated men and women with over two decades of PvP experience in Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Shadowbane, and other harsh PvP environments. With a well synchronized tactical system and planning, join us on leading raids and commerce with one goal; securing a sector and provide security to those people that have earned our friendship and trust. We work together to improve, always being honest and down-to-earth about our potential.

Lore

The Founding members of Phalanx Enterprises, were participants in a galactic wide effort known as Operation Pitchfork. This effort was a massive coordinated push to retake Orion space system from Vanduul forces after being abandoned by the UEE. The Phalanx unit, endured many missions and near death scenarios during the campaign. Through the perilous battles their bonds eventually would lead to the establishment of a new organization. They bled together, they died together, and those who survived vowed that they would honor all of those that perished. They called themselves Phalanx Enterprises, a simple holding enterprise. Tasked to not only help rebuild their futures but to help those who had been ravaged by the war. Unity would help them stand together towards the bright and prosperous future that their comrades fought and died for.

Dogma

There was a huge gathering at HQ that day. All of the shareholders and board of directors were present; which was rare as each of their responsibilities forced them to scatter around the galaxy. But this day was special for the organization – new members advanced in rank and considered full-fledged representatives of the company.

The Chairman rose and the room’s casual atmosphere was instantly replaced by a military-like stringency. The board of directors stood with hands folded behind their backs, two columns formed on sides of the hall populated by senior members and new interns. In-between them stood a line of men and women with their heads held high. The Chairman approached the initiates followed by his XO, holding a tray with small black boxes. He passed by and placed a small black badge and box in the hand of each. Each badge bore the metallic shield logo and name of “Phalanx Enterprises.”

The Chairman returned to the center of the room and everyone’s eyes focused on him, waiting for his inauguration speech.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s an honor for me to welcome these new members to our company. Please wear these patches proudly.” Each of them simultaneously attached the company logo to their shoulder and smiled as if they had achieved some greatness.

“Now open the boxes,” said Chairman. The boxes stored platinum rings that had three words engraved on them. “Each of you now own a symbol of our principles and are bound by them. Follow them or be removed.” He paused a little to make these words sink in. “Unitas, Vis, Manus. Unity, Power, Efficiency. These are core principles that form our enterprise. Live by them and you’ll be successful and achieve great things here. Don’t forget, you’re now part of an organisation, unit… and family. You have shoulders to lean on to when hardship hits you. You have instruments to pave your path to the future.”

He scanned the room with his grayish eyes, folded hands behind his back like directors behind him and pronounced.

“Unitas, Vis, Manus”
“UNITAS, VIS, MANUS” the room repeated in chorus.
