Prepare for descent… we’ll see you UNDERGROUND!

History

The Descendent Mining and Security Consortium is primarily a social organization for fans of the Descent series of games – a place to congregate outside of the mines and explore the Star Citizen universe together.

What do Descendents like to do? We like to mine and we like to fight! – and we’ll be doing plenty of that here.

Our organization is not meant to be a dominating or overly-competitive force in the verse, but rather one that supplements and enhances your current vision of how you want to play – a way for a small niche of space-shooter fans to always know they have like-minded friends to enjoy Star Citizen with.

As an organization, we will be assembling Orion mining crews, security escorts, and transport convoys to ship mined minerals to market. D-MASC members will have the option to crew multiple stations on mining platforms, gunships, and bulk freighters.

What to expect as a member of our crew

1. Crew members are not obligated to participate in all missions, but rather are given first opportunity to accept missions as they become available.
2. Crew members are payed a higher percentage of the overall haul than non-members. Pay percentage increases the longer you are part of the D-MASC crew and the more assignments you participate in.
3. There is no minimum requirement for number of accepted assignments.
4. Learn on the job! We’re not looking for experts so much as people who are trustworthy, helpful to fellow crew members, and easy to get along with.

Many of us are backers of Descent: Underground – Wingman and Rob’s newest project. While everyone is welcome to join our organization, Descent: Underground backers are immediately awarded the rank of Descendent to show their support for our very own Star Citizen alumni – Wingman, Rob, Mike, and Phil.

Charter

We are a neutral organization – we may affiliate with a number of trade organizations but have no interest in taking sides or participating in conflict with any lawful or unlawful aligned groups.

Members should be helpful and courteous to each other. Our organization is a place where players can expect to hone their skills and learn on the job.

Crew who mutiny during a mission or participate in any form of deceit or subjugation against another member or crew will be immediately expelled.

Don’t take things too seriously :) – We’re all here to have fun.
