History

Manifesto

Our employees, customers, and partners enjoy many benefits.

Our employees can expect

  • Flexible work: Work when you want to, not when we need you.
  • Competitive salary: On top of commission paid for jobs done, a regular paycheque will be given to active commissioned officers.
  • Protection: We take care of our own. If you have passed our vetting process, then you have proven yourself to be one of the good ones. Even in your personal affairs, we will always do everything in our power to protect our own, commissioned or otherwise.
  • Family: As much as we work hard, we have a great time doing it. When your company protects you, pays you well, and is only filled with the highest calibre of people, good times are always at hand.
  • No judgement: We are adults playing space-ships. There is no room for exclusion in this; all are welcome.

Our Customers can expect

  • Reliability and accountability: We take accountability for everything in our holds, but it doesn’t just stop there. Late delivery of any contract’s terms in any secure system will be subject to generous discounts. Your time is valuable. If we waste it, the least we can do is reimburse you. That’s plenty of motivation for us to keep you happy!
  • We like to all be on the same page: Poor communication has brought down more than a few massive projects. At Mobius, we understand the value of clear communication. From our cadets to our officers, communication is the facilitator of everything and we make special effort and training to ensure you are not only heard, but truly listened to. We appreciate all feedback, positive and negative. It’s the only way we grow as a company.
  • We take security seriously: The Art of War talks of bows and horses, but it’s wisdom is eternal. Knowing when to proceed and when to turn back, when to go on the offensive or wait for an adversary to come to you: all of this is timeless. War games, strategy discussions, history lessons, and not to mention a hefty security budget means pirates and other ne’er do wells had best avoid any ship bearing our logo.

Our partners can expect

  • Better than the sum of our parts: There is enough room in this galaxy for rational and reasonable expansion. But only by working together can we see that happen. By combining resources and information, resorting to conversation over battle, and supporting each other through thick and thin, this galaxy can be tamed.
  • Glorious benefits: With combined efforts come lower operating costs. That savings will be passed on to our partners who are in need of any services we provide.
  • An ally: In every sense of the word. A move against one of us is a move against all of us, be it military or economic.

Charter

1. Master and Commanders: Cagi, Danikus, Thrombosis
2.Officers: , Now Hiring!
3.Public Relations: Now Hiring!
4.Senior Pilots: Now Hiring!
5. Junior Pilots: Now Hiring!

Every new recruit is granted cadet status until a member of at least a senior officer position has been either granted a commissioned or non commissioned position within Mobius. It is the Cadet’s decision what level of involvement they wish to have with Mobius.

What does a commission mean for me?

A commission means you are not only captain of your own ship, or even fleet, and all the adventure that comes with that, but you are also a shareholder in the company. Our gain is your gain and vice versa. Once you have been given a craft of your own, everything aboard your ship is your domain. Commissioned officers are given access to the Mobius Fleet, where our best hulls and components are stored.

“The newly-minted captain is told to let nothing stop him but to do nothing that would risk his ship or his crew.”
― Patrick O’Brian, Master and Commander

What is an enlisted position?

An enlisted person serves aboard another’s vessel, or in a their personal vessel among our operations. Without the commitment of having to buy shares, you are free to come and go as you like, as you are paid per contract. As an enlisted person, you may still go out as a lone wolf, but still enjoy the benefits of having a bunch of friends ready to help you when you need it, something to do when times are lean or boring, but best of all, by having passed the vetting process of your cadetship, you can be known as a trusted, and reliable person.

Somebody has to teach you officers the difference between a warp matrix flux capacitor and a self-sealing stem bolt.
