Redshift: always on the move & seeking member profits.
Redshift Interstellar is a loosely organized brotherhood of independent traders and haulers who work together through our communications network to help our members thrive. Our presence spans the space-lanes of the UEE and other jump-points.
History
Redshift Interstellar was one of the longest operating corporations in Eve Online, with operation for more than 13 years. Participating in a wide range of activities, including trading, hauling, manufacturing, research, wormhole management and security to name but a few. Having dropped out of Eve after more than 13 years, I’ve decided to take the original concept behind the company and bring it over to Star Citizen. Having generated tens of billions of ISK in Eve, and being able to fly nearly any ship in the game, I decided to take a break and look at other games, such as Star Citizen with a similar dynamic economy, but with a more flight-simulator feel and a virtual world in which each player’s avatar can walk around and interact in ways that are not possible within Eve Online. So far none of my previous cohorts have made the move to the Star Citizen universe, but I’m hoping that might change in the future.
But in the meantime If anyone sees this listing and has a strong interest in the trade and transport aspects possible within Star Citizen and would be interested in joining such a small but close-knit brotherhood please contact me and we can discuss. I’m also hoping that we can participate in a range of other activities if we can get to that point, similar to how the first iteration of Redshift Interstellar did by also being able to mine and salvage, as well as have security escort services for high-value cargoes.
Manifesto
Redshift Interstellar is a loosely organized brotherhood of trade and transport pilots who work together to share information about missions, trade and transport opportunities as well as other useful information through our communication network so that we can capture a portion of the profits from such trade and transport for our members.
We hope to one day grow into a transportation and trade network of independent captains that can rival such companies as Covalex in our reach or that can rival the likes of Shubin Interstellar in supplying raw materials to the various manufacturing concerns in each system, and then providing a market for those end products in other systems.
Charter
Once we are organized we will strive to have a small membership fee which will be used to help cover costs of members in need.
Our loose organization will allow for freedom of each pilot to pursue whatever trade agreements or transport opportunities they come across, but we encourage everyone to provide guidance and a heads-up regarding other opportunities that arise that they themselves will not actively and immediately pursue. As such, we hope to build up an open and resourceful communications network that will allow all of our members to profit and thrive within the cold and silent environment of space that can at times be very hostile. We also encourage our members to assist those members in need, or those who might be in need and might make good additions to our organization.
We allow and encourage our members to also be members of other organizations, and to keep their membership within Redshift Interstellar subtly quiet so that we can better gain access to useful information for our members and add to our database of trade and transport opportunities.
As we bring members on we will further quantify and detail this charter, as well as add to our manifesto and history as appropriate.
