History

The Stanton Free Traders Association is an organization that was formed to bring together like-minded individuals that have an interest in trading and transport for all purposes. Whether it be civilian, military or for less…. legal reasons. The SFTA was established in 2904 shortly after the Stanton system was inhabited, the Association was one of the pioneers that helped bring goods into the system and has numerous ties with not only Hurston Dynamics but other organizations operating throughout the system. There are also rumors that they have ties to Grim Hex and the criminals who inhabit the station, but none of these have been proved. While trading and smuggling is the primary goal of the Association, they also deal in any freelance work. Providing soldiers and ships to any buyer who needs them.

Manifesto

The primary goal of the SFTA is to help those who need it, provided they have the units. Our organisation offers to help anyone with anything they may need. The legality of these actions is up to the discretion of the pilots, who have free reign to take the jobs they want and act however they please. Although this is the case, when engaging in activities that may bring negative reputation to our organisation, we ask that the pilots deny any connection to the SFTA if they are caught.

Our organisation is one of unity. We allow our members to act as they wish and they are authorized to keep 100% of the profits they earn on their own, but when jobs are provided by the organisation we take a 5% cut of the profits.

Charter

The Organisation prides itself on its freedom, but there a few rules that must be followed.

  • Do NOT under any circumstances commit acts of murder or unprovoked assault.
  • Do NOT under any circumstances fail to complete a contract with good reason
  • Do NOT under any circumstances attempt to threaten or overcharge a client
  • Do NOT under any circumstances engage in combat with another member of the STFA

Failure to follow these rules will result in a blacklist from the organisation and a bounty placed on the offender.
