To fight fire with fire. Sometimes it takes ruthlessness to combat ruthlessness. We are The Anti-Pirate Org. We go after Blue Falcons, gankers, and griefers mercilessly. Other pirates that live by some level of respect and some sense of good play are treated with the same.
History
A big fan of the 20th century antihero “The Punisher” by Gerry Conway, The Punisher represents vigilante justice in a time where the law could only go so far. In a response to the mafia killing of his wife and child, Frank Castle goes for the kill in spite of law and order. Doing what he felt needed to be done that a well established system could not; dispensing justice on his own terms.
The skull motif was a representation of the break down of rules in a world where the criminals obviously don’t follow the rules set forth by society. Though he is still portrayed as having a guarded respect for the people that devote their time to protect and serve the communities they do, if they were to practice what he did they would become his next target.
Manifesto
To be the anti-pirate who searches for fun around the edges of colonized space. Welcoming the well-intentioned spacefarer and challenging those that would make piracy their business.
Constantly training and practicing self-discipline, we travel borders of society to find those who would prey others.
Engaging in warfare and violence when the need arises, otherwise doing odd jobs relating to mining, salvaging, and passenger transport.
We value team players and those choosing to play well with others.
We do not discriminate on age, race, or sex. Talking politics is discouraged and I am respectful of all religions or lack thereof, but again this is a discouraged topic.
Charter
We are not to be your sole org, in fact to the contrary! This is not intended to be your main org! By all means maintain all of your full time routines and friendships and work with us when we put out a call and if it is convenient to you.
Please record portions of your games for video evidence should you ever need it! If you are a content creator feel free to record and publish, just give proper accreditation when its due.
Please do not donate anything to the org that you are not willing to loose!
Only org related events will acquire currency needed to run the org, in all missions associated with the org, the org itself receives a full share of any reward and/or payout.
Being respectful of teammates is paramount as is not preying on new players.
