Welcome to the Value Integrated Trade And Lead Logistics company. Here at V.I.T.A.L. Logistics™ we aim to make your business run more smoothly by alleviating a major issue in growing your business, supply chain management! V.I.T.A.L. Logistics™ is a soon to be full 3rd party logistics provider.

History

After leaving the UEE Navy Tyr Adama wasn’t sure what was to be his calling, He floundered around the galaxy taking odd jobs as a hand on multiple cargo vessels, making just enough money to stay at the next big landing zone and spend his time and money in the local nightlife. After a couple years of this aimless life he just knew he had to keep flying through the galaxy. Since money was an important part of staying in the sky, Mr. Adama decided the best way to make his dream of life on the drift a reality was to start a cargo company.

In 2945 he purchased his MISC Reliant Kore, MISC being known far and wide for having very reliable industrial ships, he decided he would bring a friend he met while in the navy along for the ride to be on his crew. And so V.I.T.A.L. Logistics™ was born

Manifesto

V.I.T.A.L. Logistics™ aims to be a boutique 3rd party logistics or 3PL provider. By focusing on our customers’ logistical needs, V.I.T.A.L. Logistics™ frees up management and workforce talent to focus on improving their products and/or productivity. Without focusing on fancy marketing tricks we expect to grow our business in a grassroots manner, essentially customer referral. We believe our focus should be on our service to the customer, not how to maximize revenue in the shortest time possible.

Our pricing model takes out all the uncertainty of shipping costs, no more worrying about credit allocation for fuel, ship maintenance, or load security. Our rates are based first on the size of the load and the distance to be traveled, then there is a fee based on a tiered structure of possible risk of loss. This fee is essentially just an insurance premium for load insurance as the ship is covered under the base rates. If you choose not to have load insurance we do not guarantee that you will get full price replacement of the product you ship with us, although we do offer refunds for lost loads at a adjusted wholesale price.

Our easy to follow pricing allows our customers to predict operating costs based on their future shipping needs, which allows a degree of certainty to future business expansions.

As a 3P lead logistics company in addition to our owned ships we maintain contracts with a wide variety of independent contractors which ensures that we have access to a wider variety of ships and are able to handle all your logistical needs, from a simple crate of the latest tech gadget or gemstones, to over sized loads of ore and metals. This also allows us to get armed escorts for our shipments at a discounted price which allows us to pass on the savings to our customers.

As a 3PL provider our services include:

  • Multi-system transport of goods and people
  • Intra-system shipment of product from one facility to another, formally known as cross-docking
  • Long term contracts with fixed pricing per load.
  • On-Demand Transportation: Which is essentially non-contract transportation orders in which the customer doesn’t require a guarantee for the delivery window and which wants to do business on an ad-hoc basis. That doesn’t mean we don’t do our best to make sure the goods get to where they need to go and on time
  • Procurement services: As a boutique trading and logistics company we take orders for products (within the confines of generally accepted system law and practices, excluding slaves and illegal drugs) and will procure and ship them to the location of your choice. Prices will include cost of the item(s) and operational expenses to include fuel, ammo, and escort fees. Plus 20% – 35% of the item cost, depending on size and price. The higher the price of the item the lower the percentage fee is
