~ Wardogs: Special Forces Creed
A private military company, Hired as a Quick Response Security Force, as well as a highly trained Special Warfare Operations Unit for Covert Missions and retrieval.
:- Inquisitor Meric, excerpt from personal logs -:
As a Warrior of the United Nations Ranger Corps (U.N.R.C) Mobile Infantry,
I acknowledge the fact that I am a diplomat, and an ambassador to all people, races, and species I meet.
I acknowledge the fact that I have been specially selected for the United Nations Ranger Corps Outfit “Wardogs”, and that I am now a member of the elite warrior class.
I acknowledge the fact that to become a “Wardog”, I must exhibit a sense of:
-Loyalty: I do not conflict our goals or personal achievements by taking sharing sides in the conflict.I will not serve in a manor that – at the time – is a conflict of interest, during operations.
-Duty: I will attend the Outfit training to the best of my ability. While one of our many mottoes is “Real Life comes First”, I will plan properly to make time once a month to attend. If this is not possible, I shall make sure to contact the leadership and let them know, so that there is no confusion. During Operations, if I am to take part in the squad’s activities, I will listen and obey those who have trained to become part of the leadership core and do my best to aid the team.
-Respect: I will respect all those who have earned it. I will refrain from comments that are in bad taste, racial, sexual, or otherwise deemed in gross conflict by the Officers and Outfit Leader. I will refrain from actions that are deemed unprofessional and will strive to do my best to maintain a polite and professional manner.
-Integrity: I will do what is right, legally and morally – within and outside the law at all times. I will never lie to a member of the outfit, or its officers. I will always strive, to tell the truth, for the truth is a shield – a lie a double edged sword. My words will become known as solid and honorable, and I shall continue to develop my integrity.
-Courage: I will not falter in the face of adversity. I will push forward where others retreat. I will not abandon my unit when things get hard, and I shall stand as a symbol of courage for all others to rally behind. I will, with my unit, lead the way. First to the fight and last to leave, when others fall back, I shall forever be “On the Move”.
-Honor: I shall live up to the values demanded by the Outfit. Honor is simply carrying out, acting, and living the values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Integrity, and Courage every day – both within and outside the playing field. My honor is what binds my words to truth – and my actions to reality.
As such, I accept this as my Creed:
-Recognizing that I have been recruited as a Warrior, fully knowing the hazards and secrecy of my chosen profession, I will always endeavour to uphold the honor, loyalty, and traditions of the Corps.
-Acknowledging the fact that as a Warrior, I accept and am expected to move further, faster and fight harder than any other Soldier.
-Never shall I fail my Corps I shall stay mentally alert, physically strong and morally attuned. To shoulder more than my share of the mission, and to give my all one hundred percent, all of the time.
-Gallantly will I show the galaxies why I am a specially selected and well-trained Warrior. My actions shall speak for me, as I am silence and never to reveal my purpose or intent, past that what the mission requires of me.
-Energetically will I meet the enemies of the U.N.E., and shall defeat them in the stars of battle, for I am better trained, and will fight till my last breath. Surrender is not in our creed, and never shall I back down to those whom bare arms to press into harm’s way.
-Readily will I display the strength, dedication and fortitude required to fight on, to complete the objective and complete the mission though I am the lone survivor.
Written here is the Uniform Code of Conduct and Doctrine for the Wardogs Special Forces:
ARTICLE I: UNIFORM CODE OF CONDUCT
I am a Wardog, the term used for a member of an Esteemed Mercenary force that upholds the Virtues of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Integrity, Courage, and Honor. In all things we do, both in-game and out we strive for perfection, not in only ourselves, but in the team’s effort. To achieve this I must push myself past what is common and strive to be the elite in all that we do. In this, I follow the teachings of the 9 Noble Virtues:
COURAGE: I face my fear and defend my unit from all dangers. I will not falter in the face of adversity. I will push forward where others retreat. I will not abandon or quit my unit when things get hard, and I shall stand as a symbol for all others to rally behind. I will, with my unit, lead the way. First to the fight and last to leave, when others fall back, I shall forever be “On the Move”.
DISCIPLINE: I do what is necessary and right of my own accord without bribe or threat. I show the world that I am specially selected and well trained. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress, and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow. During Operations, if I am to take part in the squad’s activities, I will listen and obey those who have trained to become part of the leadership core and do my best to aid the team. My actions and choices reflect my training and my commitment to perfection.
LOYALTY: I do not conflict our goals or personal achievements by taking sharing sides in the conflict. While I understand that in-game each chooses their own preference, I will not use that to my personal advantage in the form of spying, or passing on information or locations to other factions within or outside the playing field. I will not serve in a manner that is (at that time) a conflict of interest during operations.
PRESERVENCE: I press on against all odds until my goal is met and the task is finished. I take pride in my labor and hold nothing back in the work I have pledged to do. I am true to my unit, allies, and kindred to those I have pledged my service. While others will abandon their posts and flee, I will stand my ground in honor to what I have sworn to complete and task I have come to finish.
DUTY: I will attend the outfit training nights and operations nights to the best of my ability. While one of our many mottos is “Real Life comes First”, I will plan properly to make time once a month to attend both a training night and operations night with my brothers and sisters within the outfit. If this is not possible, I shall make sure to contact the leadership and let them know, so that there is no confusion.
RESPECT: I will respect all those who are part of the game, both within and outside the playing field. I will refrain from comments that are in bad taste, racial, sexual, or otherwise deemed in gross conflict by the game’s creators and moderators. I will refrain from actions at start zones that are deemed unprofessional and will strive to do my best to maintain a polite and professional manner. While it is known that friendly and rival banter is to be expected – I will make sure that my words or actions, do not go overboard, for in the end – it is just a game.
INTEGRITY: I will do what is right, legally and morally – within and outside the playing field at all times. I will never lie to a member of the outfit, or its officers. I will always strive, to tell the truth, for the truth is a shield – a lie a double edged sword. My words will become known as solid and honorable, and I shall continue to develop my integrity, within and outside the playing field.
SELF-RELIANCE: I learn skills and grow strong so that I may earn my way in the world and be no burden to others. I know a fine line separates a fighter from a warrior, one motivated by reason, the other myself, motivated by purpose. I will choose what is right, not what is easy, and gladly take on the challenge that choice presents so that I may aid my unit by being dependable, not as a hindrance.
HONOR: I shall live up to the values demanded by the Outfit. Honor is simply carrying out, acting, and living the values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Integrity, and Courage every day – both within and outside the playing field. My honor is what binds my words to truth – and my actions to reality. I am a Wardog – words and deeds fade in time – but a good name lasts forever.
