History

The Bruanic Knights began in the 13th Century, one injured band of knights who failed their homeland and the Lords who controlled it, were discovered by a group of Bruin. They had no will left to fight and accepted their fate, but the beasts simply began to drag them deep into the woods. Soon they came across a small but serene pond, and sitting on a stone to the side was a maiden in white, who seemed to embrace the Bruin as her own.

“If you Sir Knights wish to regain thy honor, accept thine blessing and hunt those who would oppose me.”

This small gesture filled the Knights with enough vigor to kneel to her. Fully vitalized upon receiving the blessing, the Knights took the name Bruanic Knights and started to expand their Order, gaining an impressive streak, pushing back all those who approached the Bruin land. In her name the Knights managed to make a peaceful land for the Bruin Goddess to live and never worry about the imposing Human threat the surrounding Lords presented.

The Order of the Bruanic Knights may have faded away into the history, yet the blessing of the Bruin Goddess and Knights remained on duty through the generations. In the late 23nd Century when the human race started to reach beyond the edge of Sol through Jump Points, the Bruin Goddess commanded the Bruanic Knights to expand their Order into the stars and to establish a way to serve those who chose a honorable path through the abyss above.

In the year 2918, the Bruanic Knights had a hand in founding the newly established group who called themselves The Alliance. This newly found Organization has honorable beliefs and the Bruin Goddess gave her blessing to the Knights, and asked them to be the force behind The Alliance while upholding the Bruanic beliefs.

We of the Bruanic Knights are to offer our full military support, our strategic combat prowess, and our special operations training to crush those who oppose the Bruin Goddes and The Alliance.

Manifesto

The Order of Bruanic Knights are tasked with several different objectives;

Uphold the will of the Bruin Goddess
Be the vanguard of The Alliance’s combat strength
Stay capable and willing to accomplish missions to fund and better The Order through Freelancing and Infiltration

COMBAT

The Order needs to be strong, as knights serving a goddess it is required to be a capable and powerful fighting force. The main unit will travel in a Polaris showing our military prowess everywhere we travel.
Our strength will rely on ground to ground combat, mostly anti-personnel. This includes boarding and infiltration other ships opposing the Goddess or The Alliance.

INFILTRATION

Infiltration will be a heavy part in trying to defend our fleets from opposing forces and many different skills will be required when taking or just stopping a hostile ship.

Boarding- The most basic part of infiltration is boarding hostile vessels, the most swift way to take down large prey is from inside.
Anti-Infantry- Being able to take down a target(s) quickly and efficiently while keeping track of the squads whereabouts in mind.
Stealth- Entering and taking a ship doesn’t need to be loud and full of fireworks. Being quiet and quick is just as effective.
Engineering- Inside hostile ships the enemy has the upper hand, but if some engineer combatants boarded and quickly disabled several systems, in turn giving The Order the upper hand.

FREELANCING

The Alliance will have some peaceful moments, and even when no more contracts come through, then no one will be pressing The Order for assistance. During these times when leisure occurs, The Order will be able to receive and complete freelancer tasks. Anything from basic security assistance, search and rescue, or even something more difficult as assisting large organizations as a hired unit to fight with. As long as the Bruanic Knights receive and pursue honorable roles the Bruin Goddess deems worthy.

Charter

WHAT IS BRUANIC?

We are the Bruanic Knights. An Order of Knights who serve the Bruin Goddess. Under her guidance, we Knights are to go out into the Verse and do things that others cannot. Bruanic Knights are capable of anything, our name will be known throughout the abyss and opposed by no one.

Code of Honor

We are Knights, and as such we have a code of honor we follow:

You are a Knight. Remember this at all times, we are better than the average soldier and we must remind them we are capable of anything and everything. Carry yourself proudly for you are part of Bruanic.
Be Chivalrous with your actions. Don’t go insulting or attacking others without reason. This is meant for the populous of the Verse as well as Bruanic, as a knight you are expected to be honorable in these actions as well.
Adhere to the word of the Goddess. Understand that Bruanic Knights will be in combat often, and listening up to follow directions and carrying them out is key to this. We ask that you be mature and understanding in combat as well as standby. 17+ Years of age please.
We are people too. We in Bruanic understand that sometimes being a goof or giving each other a hard time is part of the process in organizations, feel free to be expressive as long as we all can have a good time and respect one another.

Our Mission

In the Verse possibilities are endless, but the Bruin Goddess has a plan for Bruanic, we as Knights will carry this out.

Firstly, the Knights are the main combat strength as well as the military leaders for The Alliance. This task is deemed more than honorable by the Goddess and should be taken as her word.

Secondly, if The Alliance has nothing to offer Bruanic at the present moment, the Goddess expects the Knights to spread her name as well as their own. Acquiring Freelance Combatant missions will make the best use of the strength of Bruanic. Let all those on the battlefield fear our name as we bring down the might of the Bruanic Knights.

Thirdly, if you as a knight have nothing to accomplish, the Goddess plans to see you grow. Whether it be combat training, excelling up into the ranks of Bruanic, or even going off into the void to explore for youself, as long as you better yourself or even others, she will be pleased.

Bruanic Ranks

These are the rankings The Goddess gave the knights, along with a blessing to help them advance through the rankings.

[Blade of the Goddess] Highest ranking Knight in the Bruanic Order. Directly deals with the Goddess herself and leads the knights on the ground personally and will do whatever is commanded. This Knight is Her Blade.

[Bruanic Honor Guard] Honor Guards are seen as knights who have gained the complete trust of the Goddess, and have been welcomed in her presence in days past. These Knights are squad leaders, and second only to the Blade. Their skills are ferocious and honor knows no bounds.

[Holy Bruin Knight] These Holy Knights have displayed greater faith, fearlessness, and further combat prowess than their knightly brethren. This Title is given to those who start to show their more “Bear” like sides, and as such the Goddess starts to take notice in them.

[Knight Bruin] Bruins are a large and powerful beast who can shred it’s foes with little strength, making them formidable in many ways. These Knights have become aware they have more ability for combat than others and continue to push themselves. These knights also are given the task of helping the Knights in training and understanding the honor of Knighthood. They are awarded the Bruin Title.

[Knight] Knights are the strength of the Bruanic Order, following through all orders and beginning to devote themselves more to the Goddess than before, they start to understand the strength the Bruin contain. Knights must always be ready for a fight, they will be called upon first, and with their many different specialties they can move into, they will always be needed.

[Squire] A Knight always has a beginning. Squires are the newest members of the Bruanic Knights, whether it be training, understanding the devotion, or even a small grace period before knighthood, squires are the base of the Order. Squires do not last long, either a swift removal or a knightly beginning is in store for all Squires.

Closure

We are Bruanic. Knights who follow their Goddess and embody the spirit of Bruin. As our knight you are unbeatable , and in our brotherhood we are unstoppable.
