History

JFL is a global, Private Military Company, founded in 2900 by two former UEE Marines to provide training and support to military and law enforcement organizations as well as offer the private sector the ability to defend their cargo and lives against the Vanduul threat.

Offering a excellent base provided by the knowledge of their years of service in the United Earth Empire Army the leadership of JFL managed to build up and opened the first training facility in the year 2901 located in New Austin, Terra. Undergoing several months of base training new employees never stop learning. Each mission is new experienced gained.

The Initiative is a leading security and risk management company with project experience in over 60 star systems. We have an empire wide client-base including governments, international agencies and the international corporate sector, and are a major security provider to the United Empire of Earth government and intelligence and security advisor to the maritime insurer Messer’s Joint War Committee (JWC).

During the Vanduul Crisis JFL has supported over 118 UEE Forces in missions regarding training, maintenance and delivery streams across land, sea and air. In Davien II JFL is teamed with one of the planets largest defense companies to provide intricate solutions to planetary border security.
We’re also proud to call ourselves a long lived Partner of Aegis Dynamics and RSI. With the close partnership we offer our team the best available gear and vehicles.
We also anticipate our increasing involvement in technology will see our support to the defense and aerospace sector grow significantly over the next five years.

JFL is working to establish international standards and independent third-party regulation for the private security sector.

Since its founding JFL has been committed to setting and adhering to the highest possible professional and ethical standards, in addition to supporting the introduction of effective national and planetary regulation for the private security sector as a whole.
JFL is a pioneer in the effective regulation of the private security industry. We have worked internally and externally to implement regulations that reflect international agreements. JFL will not sacrifice reputation and quality for short-term gain.

Key contributor to the development of the National Code of Conduct (NCoC).
Supporting the further development of the NCoC, providing a senior staff member into the Temporary Steering Committee.
Contributor to the development of PSC-1, a UEE-led standard against which all private security companies globally can be independently assessed for conformity with the NCoC
One of only two private security companies to be awarded PSC-1 status in January 2920.
Engagement in the delivery of an UEE maritime standard.
Being a full member of the Security in Complex Environments Group (SCEG) since its selection as the UEE Government’s industry partner on regulation in 2915.

General Rules and Expectations
All Fleet members will, at all times, represent Jaeher and display their allegiance through the use of proper Jaeger tags (avatars, signatures, etc.). This requirement extends to both the RSI and, Teamspeak,Discord and any other public or private communications mediums.
Members are granted the right to rationally and maturely defend themselves, Jaeger, other Jaeger members, and our allies from any defamatory, derogatory, disrespectful, or otherwise negative remarks wherever and whenever appropriate. It is important to note, however that members are still expected to act in a manner that will reflect positively not only upon themselves, but, by association, Jaeger.
Members are cautioned to not take important matters related to JFL into their own hands and are expected to refrain from making any comments or decisions that have not been previously approved by appropriate ranking Staff officers.

Issues and concerns regarding any JFL decisions, members, and allies must be, as soon as possible, brought to the attention of the Officer or Staff member, in private (offline), who is next in your immediate chain of command.
Members will avoid public confrontations or internal arguments at all costs as it reflects poorly upon not only you, but also upon JFL.
Members will respect one another and show each other kindness, understanding, tolerance, and patience.
At all times, members of Jaeger will show respect to officers by listening to them and following their lead.
NEVER undermine the authority of a ranking member.
Absolutely no racism, sexism, or any other forms of prejudice will be tolerated.
Do not, under any circumstance, reply to attacks or topics about Jaeger on the RSI forums. This is a Zero-tolerance rule and breaking it will result in either immediate dismissal from Jaeger or will be dealt with as a duly designated officer sees fit.

Fleet Rules and Guidelines:
All members will, at all times, represent their allegiance to Jaeger through the use of proper Jaeger tags or other approved symbols.

Members are granted the right to defend themselves, Jaeger, other fleet members, and our allies from any acts of aggression that may take place.
Under no circumstances will it be deemed acceptable to engage allied forces.

Cheating and exploitation, whether through the use of third party programs or bugs found within the game, are highly unacceptable.
Jaeger members should take initiative and engage in tasks assigned to their division.
Members will follow the lead of their division officer / command team and complete assigned tasks.
Members should take initiative and engage, when appropriate, in tasks assigned to other divisions.
When working with another division, you are expected to adhere to their policies and protocols and to follow the lead of that particular division’s command team.

Discord / Teamspeak (TS) Rules, Expectations, and Guidelines:
No mic spamming.
No chatbox spamming.
No excessive private messaging or poking of officers. Officers will get back to you when time permits.
Do not give out any Fleet Discord info to anyone who is not a member unless given explicit permission or direction to do so by an officer.
If someone else is speaking, allow them to finish.
Keep chat and links appropriate to the channel.
Less civilized, not-exactly-appropriate, conversations should be moved to a designated channel.
Stick to the appropriately assigned Discord channels for your current game or activity. i.e. When playing Star Citizen do NOT form up in the Battlefield channel.
Treat all guests with a welcoming and respectful attitude.
