Happy Wednesday, everyone! We’re only a month away from Citizencon 2949 and our first annual Cosplay Contest! We're so excited to see all of the incredible cosplays and props you've been hard at work on, and we wanted to reward that hard work with some in-game goodies and prizes for the top creators! Check-in at the Event: Be sure to check-in at the competition desk in the Cospitality Lounge before 15:30 local time. You will need to fill out this entry form, so either grab one of ours in the lounge or save some time by bringing your own pre-filled out form like the prepared and organized citizen you are. We'll snap a quick picture of your cosplay (just for our records & reference), and send you on your way to enjoy the rest of CitizenCon. Stage Walk: At 18:00 local, report back to the Cospitality Lounge. We'll get you all lined up and ready for the Stage Walk. At 18:30 we'll kick off the Cosplay Contest, live in front of all of CitizenCon and everyone at home watching on Twitch. We'll call you up to the stage individually so you can show off your creations in front of our official panel of judges (CIG Artists Jeremiah Lee, Gaige Hallman, and Cheyne Hessler), then cross the stage for a quick Q&A about your cosplay. After everyone has a chance to strut their stuff, we'll gather for a group photo and announce winners. Make sure that you check in on time and your cosplay is in accordance with our rules listed below. Your cosplay must be Star Citizen or Squadron 42 themed. No weapons will be permitted, fake or real.
