Crafty Citizens, It is time to bust out your glue guns and rev up those sewing machines because the Cosplay Contest is returning to this year's CitizenCon event on October 19 - 20 in Manchester! Since we know that crafting cosplay can take time, we wanted to give you an early heads-up to kickstart those imaginative gears. Similar to last year, we'll be requiring those interested in participating in the Cosplay Contest to submit an application to ensure quality and variety amongst accepted participants. Keep an eye out, as we'll announce more information about where to apply at a later date. UPDATE Applications are open so don't forget to submit yours now! Here's what you need to know right now: To be considered for participation, your cosplay must be related to either Star Citizen or Squadron 42. All participants will be required to be physically present at CitizenCon. Weapons and anything resembling a weapon are not allowed inside the venue. This includes but is not limited to guns and knives. You are allowed to cosplay as a group. However, please consider that any physical prizes might not be extended to accommodate each group member. Previous costumes entered in CitizenCon Cosplay Contests will not be eligible. You will need to make a new and unique cosplay to participate in this year's Cosplay Competition. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below. Otherwise, stay tuned for additional information soon! We can't wait to see what you cook up this year!
