Submissions Are Now Closed Greetings everyone! It's time to start gathering submissions for the CitizenCon 2954 Cosplay Contest! We can't wait to see how you will bring the characters of the 'verse to life at this year's event. We're expecting our largest attendance to date, which means we'll need to narrow down the list and pre-register those interested in being showcased. Depending on the number of applicants we receive, we will prioritize submissions based on the quality of craftsmanship and originality of characters to ensure we can offer a diverse showcase of cosplay. However, don't let this discourage you from applying! This year, we're doing things a little differently and rewarding prizes based on the following categories: Best in Show Most Creative Best Performance Audience Favorite Judges will be rating your cosplay for the categories above based on the following criteria: Creativity/Originality Craftmanship Stage Presence Rules: All applicants must already have access to the event Costumes must be PG-13 appropriate Surprising the audience is okay. Surprising staff is not. Anything you plan to do on stage must get pre-clearance from the event organizer first. (@galaxt1ka-CIG) All accepted applicants must meet before the show for pictures and stage rehearsals which will be disclosed following your application acceptance. Failure to meet during this time will result in removal from the competition. Weapons are not allowed. Any props must also be submitted for clearance using the same email for your application. Group entries are allowed, but may only be rewarded a single physical prize if applicable.
