Hey everyone, We're rolling out Unified Friends Lists in Alpha 3.9 - one friends list for all Star Citizen spaces. In the past, we've had three separate friends lists: Spectrum friends, In-Game friends, and Platform (website) friends. To prepare for the grouping & social changes coming in Alpha 3.9, we're now starting to merge these three friends lists into one unified friends list. This will combine your Spectrum friends lists, In-Game friends lists, and your Platform mutual follows, and just generally make it easier to keep in touch with your friends when moving around from one place to another. We've also upped the max to 800 friends in preparation! Although this will be going into full effect with Alpha 3.9, we're beginning that transition on the backend this Wednesday, April 22nd, to make sure we've got all the kinks worked out. This will appear to you in the form of your friends list growing on Spectrum to incorporate friends from other places, but not yet appearing in-game or PTU (those will both appear when the merge goes into full effect in Alpha 3.9). Edit: As a heads up, you will likely discover that some aspects of the friends/contacts system on the platform/website will be taken down temporarily until Alpha 3.9 releases. This will not impact the friends/contacts system in-game.
