Here's how it works: Before installing or updating Star Citizen, the Launcher now automatically checks how much space you have available on your computer and calculates exactly how much space the game will need on your drive. What you'll see: Your available storage space How much space the game requires Whether you have enough room for the installation or update Timing: The calculation may take up to a minute to complete, depending on your computer's performance. Important to know: For game updates, the space requirement shown may be different from the actual download size. This is because we calculate the total space needed for all game files, but some space may already be occupied by existing files that will be replaced or reused during the update. :hammer_and_wrench: Fixed Issues: LCH 82/1432/1321/1397/1687 - Errors 5000 should be solved with this new feature as it measures the space required before Download. :bug: Known issues: Some users encounter a flickering Launcher background, which can be partially mitigated by turning off accessibility settings.
