Here's how it goes: Ship Showdown is a month-long event to determine the most beloved flyable or drivable vehicle in the 'verse. There are ships to win, a Free Fly featuring the Top Eight, exclusive Best in Show paints for the final four, and a special gift for the ultimate champion. In a desperate effort to tame this concentrated shipload of vesselmania, we've divided Ship Showdown into two phases. Phase One is all about spotlighting your favorite vehicle by sharing original content to the Community Hub or Twitter. This can be an original song, something physically crafted, an epic in-game (or real-life) shot, a trailer, or a music video... You can even take it a step further and construct the ship in real life if you're up to the challenge! To maximize your fav's chances of advancing to Phase Two and the top 16, upvote, like, and reshare any content of the vessel you want to win. Phase Two sees the top 16 square off head-to-head in the ultimate tournament of aerospace champions. Whoever makes it to the final eight will be available to every player in an exclusive one-week Ship Showdown Free Fly. Furthermore, the final four competitors will receive an exclusive Best-In-Show Paint 2953 and a fancy in-game poster. The Ultimate Champion, however, will be available to every player for a full month after Ship Showdown, and all for free. Ship Showdown Phase One will take place from August 7 to August 21, followed by Phase Two from August 23 to September 6. And now?
