Greetings Citizens! Around this time last year, we hosted our first-ever TikTok contest to celebrate the launch of our official TikTok account (https://www.tiktok.com/@starcitizen). Since then, we've seen our community explode on the platform with tons of creators making us laugh by posting their funny Star Citizen shenanigans, live streaming their gameplay, and even creating tons of helpful guides and tutorials. Therefore, we're excited to announce that we'll be hosting the TikTok Ship Showdown contest again this year to celebrate our community on TikTok while offering another chance to win some ship! As you may already know, Ship Showdown is all about campaigning for your favorite ship. TikTok can make it easy to get creative for your nomination, and we absolutely can't wait to see what you'll come up with. Get creative. Get loud. Get (a little) weird and make sure to include #SCShipShowdown and #StarCitizen in the caption of your post. You have until August 21st, 2023 at 20:00 UTC / 1:00 pm Pacific to make your submission. How to Enter: • Follow contest rules: https://play.sc/tiktokcontestrules • Publish a video featuring any flyable/driveable ship currently in-game on TikTok • Include the following hashtags in the post caption #StarCitizen and #SCShipShowdown • Only one submission per participant. Group submissions are not allowed • Does not have to contain in-game footage. Creativity is encouraged! Prizing: 1st Place - Aegis Reclaimer Standalone in-game ship with LTI (in-game lifetime insurance) 2nd Place - MISC Freelancer MAX Standalone in-game ship with LTI (in-game lifetime insurance) 3rd Place - Aegis Gladius Standalone in-game ship with LTI (in-game lifetime insurance) Winners will be announced on August 28th. We will notify winners as a comment from the official Star Citizen account on the winning entries. You will need to be following the official Star Citizen account so that we can DM you with additional information required for crediting your prize to your RSI account. You're also welcome to participate in the Ship Showdown contest that is also currently active on the Community Hub. Good luck, everyone!
