The 40014 error code seems to be spreading at an increasing rate but it has been impacting access for some players for a number of weeks. Finding information on it isn't straight forward and unfortunately there is no workaround. From the Knowledge Base: We have seen an increase of reports of players receiving the 40014 error, which can unfortunately prevent them from entering the game. There has been some mentions that some players have been able to access Arena Commander, but this does not seem to be consistent with all instances of the error. We are actively tracking and looking for a solution to this and are seeking additional information, including any possible workarounds that have been found. This is the best way to let CIG know this is a major issue. Many people can still log into PTU and Arena Commander. People with multiple accounts find some are effected and others are not so its seems unlikely its a client side network issue (as the error code would imply). I'll update this post if we are told anything official... **Okay - it looks like accounts are being reset. No workaround required - it just happens. Account is completely reset with all aUEC and reputation reset. Would be nice if they gave some explanation.
