Dear Chairman, I am writing this because I care deeply about the vision of Star Citizen, but the current trajectory of the project has become genuinely unhealthy for the game itself. For years, the community has patiently waited for the fulfillment of foundational promises, yet we find ourselves continuously grappling with long-standing, unresolved bugs and game-breaking stability issues. Instead of a hard pivot toward aggressively fixing the core technical debt that has plagued the universe for years, the primary focus consistently seems to shift toward the Pledge Store—pushing new concept sales and rushing untested, unstable patches to the live environment. Prioritizing monetization and short-term funding loops over foundational health compromises the integrity of the project and heavily erodes player trust. The community is experiencing severe backer burnout. We are TIRED of seeing marketing prioritized over a playable, stable experience. There is a widening, frustrating gap between the grand promises of the past and the reality of the live build we experience every day. We don't need more ships to buy, and we don't need more hollow roadmaps—we need the game we backed to finally work. I urge you to listen to the community, take accountability, and refocus development priorities entirely toward stability, core infrastructure, and honoring the commitments made to the backers who built this project from the ground up. About the Odin Fiasco : Pledging $5,000 for an unreleased concept ship, while requiring players to write an "essay" just to get permission to buy it, perfectly highlights the disconnect between marketing tactics and actual game stability. I won't mention how many ships were in concept and being delivered unfinished / unpolished. We gave you our trust, our patience, and over a billion dollars to build a historic game, Chris—not a historic digital storefront. It’s time to stop selling the dream and finally fix the reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!
