First of all, I enjoy PVP. That's why I go to the Contested Zone or Arena Commander, and if I'm attacked in Pyro, I face the fight. I enjoy it. But we also know the griefer discussions, etc. In Pyro, I can still live with these idiots. Every society has its garbage to live with. In an outlaw system, there's significantly more garbage (see Madmax). But what the game designers were thinking with this patch is beyond me. Let's start at the beginning: 1.) Why is a patch being released that still has countless critical bugs? This doesn't align at all with the statement about focusing on quality. And because complaining doesn't achieve anything and I'd rather be critical, here's a note to CIG. You could have held the sale without releasing the buggy patch, and players would have still made purchases. Releasing something half-finished shouldn't happen anymore. 2.) A very critical issue is that many players have lost their components and weapons. How can this happen? The game has functioning databases. FPS equipment is retained. What's so difficult about saving ship components in the same database? This also applies to purchased and stored cargo. And what always drives me crazy is, why on earth can't your database remember that we have ammo, drinks, medpens, and food? That has nothing to do with persistence. It's nonsense. Store these things in the same database as FPS gear. It can't be that difficult. 3.) What's a real disgrace to me, however, is the fact that you're apparently unable to inform the community that the new patch is supposed to be released on Thursday or Friday evening. (If it doesn't work out for technical reasons, no one's offended.) We don't have Christmas all year, waiting for surprises! We want information. And when I look at other games, they manage to announce every patch, really every patch, in advance. With you, I get the impression that an intern accidentally presses the release button and then, whoops... I expect that in the future, a patch will be announced 24 hours in advance in the launcher. I, for one, don't want to be surprised anymore. And hints hidden between push notifications in the chat are, sorry to say, kindergarten. (We are NOT planning to release a new PTU candidate today.) I'm 53 and I love facts, not fake news  4.) I'm slowly coming to the opinion that your gameplay loop designers should be forced to play the game themselves on a live server for three hours every evening with the task of playing the designed gameplay loop... and playing it all the way through. You only really learn through pain. How can it be that you put together an event or a sandbox activity where with luck you can even win a $1000 ship (what's the point of this cheese, think of other rewards) at the end and you assume that the community will work together!? I mean, just look around in the real world (that is outside of the development studios). People don't work together, they're focused on themselves and that's exactly what's happening in the game. You've now attracted an infinite number of players who have nothing better to do all day than ruin other players' experiences. (I'm against PVE servers) and then you put together an event like this. I don't understand it. The PVE players, and I'd even argue the majority of the community, including PVP players, don't want an event where Kevin and Chantal from their would-be PVP organization constantly drop bombs and destroy ships on the ground for fun. Haven't you gotten it yet? People don't want that, and four hours in the Klescher won't stop anyone from acting like an asshole, especially when there's a chance of getting a $1,000 ship at the end. Put the PVE locations in bubbles so that bombs and rockets have no effect and these weirdos have to get out. 5.) You want functioning, smooth servers/meshes!? It's time for the naked corpses constantly lying around to disappear quickly; it's time for the countless spaceship wrecks on the ground and in space to disappear relatively quickly. The game is filling itself with junk, and there's no mechanism for cleaning it up (despawn). Also, like EVERY OTHER ONLINE GAME, you should finally introduce fixed weekly maintenance intervals. It can't be that difficult to maintain the system on Wednesday mornings between 5 and 9 a.m. 6.) How can it be that you release a patch that focuses on mining, and then many things don't work in that loop? The gameplay loop design team finished their work well before the people responsible for the game's mechanics, and nobody cared. It's like bringing a new car onto the market with 600 hp and a top speed of 300 km/h, but the brake engineers haven't finished their work yet... that's NOT how you work. A development studio shouldn't operate like that either. I notice that you still don't understand the basics of calming the community down. I can't promise quality and then not contribute anything. Despawns are important, maintenance is important, timely information about new patches so that players can prepare for them. These three things are essential!!! And then you should plan events or sandbox activities in the future that don't end in a thin tube where PVE players are slaughtered again by wannabe PVP players or organizers who are too stupid to look for real opponents (my organization is happy to help if you dare). And in my opinion the biggest nonsense by far, which causes a lot of fuss... stop giving players ships for hundreds of US dollars via PVP. There are other better rewards. Use your imagination. And a really serious PLEASE: Force the gameplay designers to play through their ideas in a live environment. Thanks, I'm done.
