I'm so sorry, but your answer Zyloh really puts the crown on the whole thing. I find it almost heroic how you expose CIG to ridicule with this post. “we are surprised” LOL but at least there is some kind of answer from cig, even if it's just a two-liner. the argument that it's the weekend doesn't count for a project of this size! there's too much money involved! (MMO = 24/7/365) i cannot express how deeply this answer reveals. "Unexpected bottleneck" CIG are you surprised? You're surprised that we're waiting in line for freight elevators? You're surprised that freight elevators don't work? You're surprised that 30 or so missions for 600 players on a shard is not enough? You dare to be surprised after weeks on the ptu? Let me tell you what I'm surprised about and what comes unexpected to me: why do we test this event for weeks in the ptu? why do we give you the hint that there are too few locations that form a bottleneck? why do we point out that there are too few missions for the live? why do we point out these things when you ignore them and act surprised during the event? why are you not able to design missions? why are the distribution centers not included? (here i could just imagine that they were patched in, but in the end they don't really work) why do we have server fps around 6 again? why is there no bugfixing going on? elevators, freight elevators, hangars still buggy as hell! why don't you test them yourselves? a hotfix is supposed to fix it now. as long as the hotfix fixes all the freight elevators and elevators and hangars and the mission design, fine! but the hotfix can't fix shit, because it's about fundamental problems in mission design and bugfixing. maybe it would be helpful if you played the game yourselves. maybe spend some money on quality assurance and not just on marketing and pretty videos. really have to ask whether anyone at cig still knows what they're doing? In my opinion, you have completely lost focus. Like panicked chickens, a bit of content is made here, a few ships are hyped and sold there. A few marketing strategies implemented, until then at citizencon the sky is promised again! then again marketing to sell ships, oh we didn't reach the promised content of citcon, sorry, that's why we're doing the year of bugfixing. and repeat! but you're not getting anywhere with your crap. it feels like you're taking one step forward and two steps back. new bugs and difficulties in the implementation are not tragic in this state of the game. mistakes that are made are absolutely normal. but not learning from them is very depressing. especially for the many dedicated ptu testers who keep the issue counciel alive (oh, another topic). also the fixing of various bugs has to progress, especially in the year of bugfixing. i can hardly see any significant progress, sorry. to come to the end. CIG you have to find your focus again. there has to be a quality offensive in which old bugs are finally fixed and missions and events are fun again. CIG let quality, not marketing, do the talking for you! but honestly, i am now certain that cig will not be able to realize the promised project technically and professionally. i hope they can still turn things around, but i no longer believe it. And Chris? Chris is just watching. A passenger on his own journey, a spectator in his own project, waving as opportunities pass by.
