I really hope that's not the case, but after years of telling us how much SC would have in its NPC interactions and leading us to believe that we could count on them either as crew members or as the basis of the game's economy and actually seeing what CIg is proposing now with the release of the game in 1.0, we can only imagine that we were led astray. Now, on top of that, the main ship developer practically says that there are no plans for Galaxy to have a base construction module, even though last year CIg clearly showed that Galaxy would have one. So the meme that has been around for many years seems to be coming true.
