These liveries are ugly, cheap, and effortless looking. This will also be the THIRD time the BiS skin will be a purple motif. 2949 was White and Purple. 2953 was a blue/purple pearlescent. And now, the worst yet, plum and lilac... Im mostly irritated about the F8C. It didn't release with any liveries (like a lot of ships do). One livery option is locked behind a Chairman's Club pay wall. The other option was exclusive to Platinum tickets which were basically non-existent. And now this... I was really stoked the F8 won in Ship Showdown, and now I feel it was all for naught. I am SUPER disappointed with this. Also, what happened to this? This was in 2020, what happened to the implementation of this shader system? They wouldn't even be giving up the ability to sell liveries, the liveries would then be a base pattern that color could be applied to. Also a quote from this video that is pertinent to these horrible, ugly, flat, boring BiS liveries... "One of the things that we're really proud of is the way the vehicles look in star citizen. Just having untextured or flat shaded models, you could have the best model in the world, its not going to look great. Where it comes to life, is the materials."
