Call to Arms was already not the best source of money. Now it's almost pointless to take. They've changed it so it does not reward anything when taking out criminals as part of some other contract, only those stumbled upon. Which is almost never. I thought it was some kind of bug. This makes it so taking out anyone that isn't directly progressing your mission (such as your bounty target) not only a waste of time, but actually a net negative as you take more damage and use more ammo. This makes no sense from a gameplay or lore perspective at all. Why would the CDF not reward you taking out any criminal? Why would CIG encourage not fully completing a combat encounter? The way I'd have it work is that CtA gets buffed to be a significant payout per kill, but then nerf the actual mission contract payouts. This would keep money gains from getting too insane, but make sure that all combat missions are fully scalable to any number of enemies or party members. While we're at it, can we make reputation gains not split? That makes zero actual sense. It makes rep feel like some kind of abstract physical object. This mission pays 20,000 credits and 350 reputations, split among all contractors. What is A reputation? What does A reputation look like? Can I spend it?
