It's far too easy to make macros for capacitor wiggling. This macro was made in less than 2 mins. I'm not skilled at all in making macros, and I'm sure there are better (worse) programs that can make a lot more advanced macros. To explain what is going on here as judging from the replies some don't understand. All I do is press the trigger, everything else is automated by the macro. I think we are already seeing this in Arena Commander. Some players have uncanny patterns in the recharging of their shields (of course, some may be really good). What does CIG intend to do to prevent the use of macros? If people macro the shit out of capacitors, and there is no way of stopping it, we might as well drop them again altogether? Edit to add: Maybe capacitors should have been a setting that you can't easily change "on the fly", but something you set before you go into combat (decisons -> consequences). E.g. it should maybe have focused on the passive advantage (a.k.a. overclock) and let it take 30 seconds to switch priority? So in this example, you could go into a fight in defensive mode (more overclock to shields) and if during the fight you see that you have no problems with the enemy, you could switch to a more offensive mode (more overclock to guns), but it would take time for the changes to take effect. Or vice versa of course.
