Feel free to change my mind but I sincerely doubt you can. CIG doesn't understand what abandoned means. Every time they say abandoned what they really mean is "derelict with a whole army of soldiers". Abandoned means no one. Nobody. Empty. Gone. Poof. An abandoned rock cracker in space means NO ENEMIES. Figuring out how to activate it again IS THE CHALLENGE. Abandoned municipal services in Levski means ABANDONED. NO ENEMIES. Abandoned mining laser means ABANDONED. Abandoned science facilities means ABANDONED. Someone at CIG has to think that abandoned = decrepit + baddies because this has gone on for far too long. A lot of the Citcon stuff sounded great until they said it was an abandoned area (of which you will kill 30 pirates who have an infinitely respawning closet). Huge miss and extremely disappointing. Sometimes an area SHOULD be abandoned. Add some suspense. Edit: After reading the comments I understand what some of you are trying to say and I get that but I do believe you're missing the point I'm trying to make. Sometimes places in game need to actually be abandoned. Space is huge, there shouldn't be a pirate encampment in every single station, bunker, facility, space mining station, or tunnel network. The suspense of Star Citizen doesn't come from combat, it comes from the possibility of it. If it's a certainty then there's no suspense. It's not believable. And most importantly, it's not enjoyable.
