CIG nerfed PDC damage to make them less useful vs fighters. This is fine. To compensate for this, CIG reduced missile and torpedo hit points. However, the ratio is not good enough. Flicka and I extensively tested PDC since introduction. A Polaris and 890 could easily deal with 8 size 10 torpedoes fired at once. I wanted to see how effective Perseus PDCs are and to my surprise since 4.4., 890, Polaris and Perseus cannot even reliably destroy one size 10 torpedo anymore. Perseus was only able to destroy one size 10 torpedo when aimed at her rear, but it was a close call. Being able to destroy 8 size 10 torpedoes fired at once was maybe a bit too much, not being able to destroy even one size 10 torpedo reliably anymore since 4.4., makes PDCs not of much use anymore.
