CIG while i think this is good in the long run please tell me when you plan to have the following issues solved. 1. Ship Randomly De-spawning: It's incredibly frustrating when a ship I’ve carefully landed on a planet (e.g., my Polaris near an objective) simply vanishes into thin air. Suddenly, it’s listed as “unknown” or “destroyed,” forcing me to file a claim unnecessarily. 2. Docking Issues: The inability to dock larger ships like the Polaris leads to situations where I’m forced to log out, only to have the ship end up as “unknown” or “destroyed” upon my return. 3. Missile Management: There is no logical system for organizing missiles in cargo grids because missile racks aren’t implemented. This makes restocking ordnance a convoluted mess. 4. Server Errors: When server issues arise, I often lose access to my ship and am forced to claim it. On top of that, I have to spend more money to re-acquire lost missiles and ordnance due to no fault of my own. This has to be the dumbest thing you could implement before you polish things. Im not even worried about the cost really, im worried that there are to many bugs that put your ship into an unknown state and then you force your players into a bugged ship that HAS to be claimed. Then you are penalized for a bug. Additionally, how often do we land at a location only to find that rearming or refueling is unavailable? And how are we supposed to rearm at locations where ships can only dock, but not enter a hangar? https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/lobby/38230/message/57516787 https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/lobby/38230/message/57516856 Update to every one !!! In the new EPTU build tonight the missiles are back ! 12-9-24 https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/lobby/38230/message/57603021 Thanks waka edit1 I agree with the idea that ships should return without ordnance—that’s realistic. But this only makes sense once the surrounding features are functional and polished. For now, bugs like ships despawning mid-mission make this unreasonably punishing. edit 2 For those saying, “This is an alpha, it’s PTU, why complain?”: The entire purpose of participating in an alpha is to test systems and provide feedback. This change feels premature because there are still too many unresolved issues causing ships to end up in an “unknown” state, forcing unnecessary claims. edit 3 Some one else pointed out to me that there is no granularity to restock, its either all or nothing, you had to claim your ship like a polaris, to bad 14 mil + because you need all those torps, size 2, and size 3. But if you use that ship to go out and do a bounty not even using a single missile you would not be able to only restock the flares or ballistic ammo you also have to restock all the torps and missiles. This lack of flexibility adds unnecessary expense. Then there is this i found in spectrum today as well. Issues with missiles even going after the ship you have locked. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/i-know-why-your-missiles-aren-t-tracking-locked-ta Thanks for the write up @EphemeralSol Edit 4 with the change in prices this is what it would cost to rearm some different ships. 100k to rearm a fury MX 232k to rearm a Firebird 160k to rearm a Conny Aquia
