I submitted a report showing two different ships where the power plants and shields are destroyed. You can actually watch the ship lose power and shields. But when a salvage ship attempts to fracture the hull, the salvage system still reports POWER ON and prevents fracturing. CIG closed the report as "not a bug." So I'm asking the community: How is this intended gameplay? CIG's own engineering documentation distinguishes between power plants being online/offline and components being disabled or destroyed. Yet here we have a ship with its power-producing components destroyed and visibly powered down, while the salvage system still considers it powered. I'm not arguing about insurance, piracy, or the bricking system in this report. I'm asking about this specific interaction. Destroyed power → ship powers down → salvage still says POWER ON → cannot fracture. Maybe I'm missing something. If this is intended, what is the intended gameplay logic behind it? If it isn't, here's the new Issue Council report: https://issue-council.robertsspaceindustries.com/projects/STAR-CITIZEN/issues/STARC-220786
