So, my friends and I just took a look in the new patch notes of 3.3. They removed almost everything delaying it to 3.3.5, putting it really close to 3.4. I think we all know what is going to happen next, especially the people here who have been in this community for long enough. I don't get it, smaller studios do better and create more. I don't care that they are bringing out "better content" and that bullshit, it's all bullshit. It's a fucking hamster wheel where they need more money so they create more ships so they can get more money. It's like the game is 70% ships and 30% world. Honestly look at their performance in the last few years? Utter garbage, they reset the entire game, moved it into a new genre, developed net code and then moved to a new engine. Why? Because they have no idea what they are doing. I would love for this game to be what it aspires to be but as of right now it just seems so...far and impossible. The team clearly does not invest in what SHOULD be invested in, instead trying to grab money with ships, packages, deals and skins (really!? why would you need SKINS). Or like my friend said: "Support promises > Small development > Out of money > Design more ships to bring more supporters > Spend most earned on making more ships of high standards > Out of money.jpg > MORE SHIPS > small improvement > OUT OF MONEY > REPEAT" A shame really. To anyone who wants to buy this game, think twice, no actually. Think thrice. This game may look and sound amazing, but it's honestly just another failed attempt at doing the impossible. And RSI, please please please stop throwing fuck ton of ships at us and instead focus on ACTUAL content that players can bite on, real content gets real players, that's how it works. Ships =/= Content You may applaud/cry with me/salt.
