So id like to preface this now by saying I am NOT trying to be a D here. I am genuinely curious and concerned and would like other peoples opinion on what I am about to say. The reason I am asking this question is because I am just genuinely concerned about the treatment SC is being handled while SQ42 "seems" like is getting all the love and attention while SC "feels" like there is a skeleton crew working on all the INGAME features that would inch SC to become a game and not this "TECH DEMO" that SC still is and honestly, will still be for god knows how many more years. I was holding out hope that ONCE SQ gets released, all those people will be reintegrated back into SC so SC can finally have some get the love that it DESPERATELY needs and has needed since its inception. BUT... a buddy told me that this scenario isn't actually what's going to happen. What's going to happen is that once SQ gets released, those teams are just going to start working on SQ Chapter 2. After I heard this I just became completely deflated and just lost all hope that SC will ever see the TLC that its needs. But even if I am wrong and the people working on SQ, will in fact, be working on SC to fix everything...will it just turn into a "too many cooks in the kitchen" type of scenario? Where right now, the speed at which SC is being developed is the best that its going to ever be cause there is just simply WAY to many people working on the same things and is just going to cause more problems? It just feels more of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" type of situation. Like there is no winning in either situation. To me, SC feels like its being held hostage by SQ42 and SC's survival is reliant on SQ42 success. Your advertisements are 99% for SC...but the money isn't all going towards SC. Not only that, if SQ42 fails, the whole project will more than likely fail. The current success for the project has NOTHING to do with SQ42, and yet the future of the whole project does?? Like am i going crazy here?? That is INSANE to me. That is so unbelievably unfair Is this just me or?
