What do you think? In another thread this question came up, and opinions on this can fall on either side of the pvp/pve divide. Some pvp players don't believe full loot was the right move for Star Citizen. There are probably some pve players who are in favor it (because they can collect stuff from NPCs?). Here are some reasons why it might not be good for the game (only the first two are my personal concerns): Encourages alt-f4 Sperm suits everywhere The ignominy of someone stripping your body (nearly) naked The debacle with subscriber gear ...among other possible reasons. This is all separate from losing a weapon after engaging in combat and dying. If the game needs money sinks, then armor can degrade with use and damage, requiring money to repair and maintain it. Ammo could be more expensive, too. I might miss tractor beaming 20 NPCs into my ship to strip their stuff so I don't have to bother with it until the next wipe, then again I might not. A lot of players like to have a certain look. I think they should be allowed to keep it. ---------------- Thanks for the replies everyone. It's a good discussion.
