You can now swap out the Pitman for a Crafted Pitman but neither can accept Modules. Even though I have plenty in my inventory. Seems they tried to fix the Pitman being locked from swapping for Crafted Pitman but broke the Modules in the patch. Any one else seeing this same Bug? Also why did it take deconstructing 3x S1 heads to get enough materials to craft a single S1 head? Still think the Pitman should get 3 module slots since it is "bespoke" and doesn't work on anything else. Or the Power Scroll below 20%, this is supposed to be a Starter ship... Give it some flexibility please. Ok I found a work around but only if you can get a Pitman head (Crafted or otherwise) into your inventory to bring up on freight elevator. Then manually attach the modules you want to that head and send back to inventory to equip the entire head with modules. I tried to equip modules while head was on Golem but this was blocked or no Green zone. CIG blocked this so we couldn't swap out heads manually. Now I got modules attached but can't swap them out easily and with limited use modules this will be a pain. For a Starting player with no Pitman BP or way to get one into their inventory, This is a Terrible Situation being stuck with base Pitman no Modules at all. Being we can't add or replace modules while the head is on the ship It only seems right that We should be able to Toggle the modules we do manage to get installed ON/OFF the same way we can the Consumable Modules. ALT+1-3... This would be an overall improvement for all mining heads to Have this Toggle ability for modules. (Like powering on or off as needed) Below are some comparisons. between S1 and S2 and My thinking is The Pitman is a Size 1.5 based on it's stats. This would fix the problems with The bespoke nature. By classifying it as 1.5 it would not fit on any S1 or S2 head arm. Nor would any S1 or S2 head Fit on the Golem's Arm as a S1.5 or S1B(Bespoke). Although if you look at model scale there really is no difference between Sizes. It was just a way to create a Nerf for S1. Could be much simpler. The image with 3 heads is one of each S1, S2 , SB(Pitman). If you compare stats The Pitman sits in the middle Zone between. A little higher than S2 Arbor on power, but a little lower than S2 Impact, Yet Has the Klein instability... Pitman seem to be a S1.5 and IMHO Should have 3 module slots since it can't be swapped out. Should also be able to dial down it's power Scroll below 20%. This would help a Starting miner stay in the green zone with all that instability and added resistance. by having it's power in middle between S1 and S2 this would allow the Modules to lower or Raise the power nearly the whole range. from the lowest of S1(Focus modules) and high of S2(Reigers) All while being confined to same head. The ability to toggle the Passive modules ON/OFF should be implemented for all Mining heads Honestly.
